SERVICES WE PROVIDE:
- Assistance in filing claims for retirement, survivor and disability benefits from the Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other Federal Affairs and other Federal Benefits Agencies;
- Applying for social security number;
- Reporting of change of address;
- Reporting the death of a beneficiary;
- Reporting a lost or delayed check.
EVENTS THAT BENEFICIARIES MUST REPORT TO SSA:
- Change of address;
- Work outside the United States;
- Return to work of disabled person or improvement of disability;
- Marriage;
- Divorce or annulment of marriage;
- Adoption of a child;
- Child leaves the care of husband, wife, widow or widower;
- Child is nearing 18 years of age, is a full time student, or is disabled;
- Death;
- Inability to manage funds;
- Deportation or removal from the U.S.;
- Changes in parental circumstances;
- Eligibility for a pension from work not covered by Social Security.
It is very important that you tell us if your address changes so your checks will not be lost or delayed. Even if your payments are being sent to a bank, you must report any change in your home address.
Individuals who do not keep their mailing address current may run the risk of having their benefits suspended.
