Seeking Information about Missing U.S. Servicemen

Members of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Prisoner of War/Missing Personnel Office in Washington, DC, will be in Bulgaria in June and July 2008 to conduct research and interviews concerning American servicemen unaccounted-for from past conflicts.  They will be assisted by the U.S. Embassy's Defense Attaché Office.  Anyone with information about American servicemen missing as a result of World War II or military operations during the Cold War (e.g., the Korean War and the Vietnam War) is requested to contact the Defense Attaché Office by sending an e-mail to POW_MIA@state.gov.
